Follow the 3-2-1 Rule and Awesomeness is Guaranteed!
In recent years there’s been an explosion of daily checklists…
Don’t do this, do do that. So many dos and don’ts that you’d need 437 days just to complete one day’s list!
Here are all those checklists rolled in to one:
The 3-2-1 Rule for an Awesome Day.
3. Three Must Dos. Nowadays, nobody can get away with just doing three To Dos in a day. However, it’s important to always remember that all To Dos are not created equal. The average person has only three (or less) To Dos each day that truly matter, that will truly make a major difference. Focus, focus, focus…Relentlessly. Here are a few past posts to help you with that:

2. Two Great Help Moments. Helping others. (Beyond whatever help you’re already supposed to provide.) Why is this so crucial to you having an awesome day? Above and beyond the fact that this is just what good people do… You are teeing up pay it forward moments that you will receive in the future. We are now in a networked economy. Your personal network is one of the most crucial factors to your success. If you make a daily practice of helping others, you are creating a wellspring of awesomeness that will come back to you!
1. One New Learning. Every day. Constantly ask a question you didn’t ask yesterday. Seek out a new experience — from walking or driving a different route to doing something you’ve never done before. Every day. This is crucial because every day is filled with major disruptions. And the only way to have awesome disruption-filled days, is to train yourself to constantly adapt to changing situations. That starts small, like by walking a different route each day. Doing so you are training your heart and mind for the unexpected. You are creating a life where serendipity is built-in.
Three must dos ensures a focused great day.
Two great helps keeps you in touch with your values and what really matters.
One new learning prepares you for whatever comes next.
A simple approach to make every day awesome!
